Is it possible to create a drop-down menu in FM that is similiar to something that appears in windows? What I want to down is create a field that contains 3 seperate value list, if option A is selected a drop-down menu would appear with specific items. If B is selected, a different set of items appear. Example: In IE, when a user clicks on "file", more options appear, and then when they click on "new", another set of options appear. I want to replicate that kind of drop down menu in FM 7. Is it possible? Or am I stuck with only single value lists per field?

p.s. I have used the value list option that allows 2 lists to be used but that is not what I am trying to do.

Jean W explained to me how to do this a couple months ago. You may be able to search for her response. Basically, you need to set up a second database with all the potential combination a A, B, or C in field 1, with their respective items in field 2. Then in your main database, you set up a relationship with the second database, and have your value lists for the 2 fields look in the second database for the options. Both databases have to be open to use it.
