creating a DNS record.

Hello,

Thanks for the help.....My question is Can I create a DNS A record or Cname that point to a URl using an /

Ex:
Where xxx is the ip address.....Please not that the /webstart has to be in place or the page is not displayable.
 
No. DNS doesn't support folders of URLs. You have to put a redirectory on the web server to redirect requests from the root of the web site to the subfolder.

Hello NewToo,

You can create and additional site in IIS with the name you want and redirect it to the subfolder you need (under "home directory" select "a redirect to a URL")
