Creating a db for Installing CE/BOXI for on fresh server.

Hi,

This is a grass roots question regarding installing CE/BOXI on a fresh server.

During the install process I have to create a connection to a data base.

My question is that if I dont have Enterprise Manager or similar to create a database to connect to, how does CE install? Does it or can it create its own DB.
Of course MSDE is installed.

Hi,

Depends of your version but no matter what, CE or BOXI will always offer you the possibility to either use your own existing DB or install MSDE or MySQL for you then use it.
