I need to create a submap that shows about two dozen nodes (simple IP nodes) that are from many different subnets. Whenever I create a submap and copy these from the orignal map and paste them in, the original objects disappear and the new object never works properly. What am I doing wrong?

Try just draging the nodes to the submap. It seem on nnm 7.0 that the copy and past function never really seems to work. What are you running? On what Platform?

You have to use CUT & PASTE to have it work right.
