I am trying to create a custom input mask in a text box on a form. When the date is entered into this box I need for it to be entered mm/yy and stored this way as well. Is there a way of doing this without having to know Visual Basic? I am new at this so I'll need step by step instructions :)

First things first, make sure the text box control source is not be a "date/time" field. Make it text

Next right click on the text box of the form, click properties find the "input mask" property set it to 99/99;1;- Save

Open the form in design view and click on the field that the data will be stored in, go to the property section at the bottom of the page and set the "input mask" to 99/99;1;- Save

This should do it for you
