I am able to do all of this in bcb6 just fine, but I cannot figure out how to do it in the 2007 version. Basically, in bcb6 you create it, and it tells you it has to rebuild the package, and it does, then the new component shows up. In 2007, there is no ‘install’ button like there is in bcb6, there is no place to declare which package it goes into. You are forced to ‘create unit’, but I couldn’t find anywhere to add a unit to an exsisting package, so that’s where I am stuck. There is no place to add a unit to a package, and there is no option to add a new component to an existing package. The other main difference is that in bcb6 it asks to rebuild the package, and in 2007 it never does rebuild the package. I did notice that in the .cpp it has something about package register, RegisterComponents, etc, which appears like it is adding the component to the right package, but I never get anything to show up in the palette I put it in.
