I have a rather large split Access database that I want to compile to an mde file. I feel like throttling a microsoft programmer, but I don't know his name. All I get is "Cant make mde file" I know about creating a chain of mde's for split databases. If I remove all code I EVENTUALLY get it to go. Is there any known way of sqeezing something better that "Can't Do" out of the system? I have loads of forms and loads of Vb code. It's difficult to remove anything without there being a missing reference to a deleted bit! Surely this is not the best microsoft can offer for such an established product.
