Hi there,

My clubs web site needs to have a notice board detailing upcoming events. A facility which enables members to post a form of the events details to a server application. This app then takes the data entered by the client/member and generates a HTML update for the HTML noticeboard. Any ideas?......

It would also be of use if the server could regularly monitor thte notice board and delete any events that have passed as the date would be one of the required fields on the input form.

Cheers me dears

Have you thought of using Coldfusion - it's a great application for passing information from user input to database and back to HTML pages. you can check it out at <A HREF=" TARGET="_new">

there is also a forum here for coldfusion.

Hope this helps.
If U don't wanna change to Coldfusion, use Dreamweaver-Ultradev. It has a very useful collection of database tools for the web. Your problem is solved in a few steps with that software.
