I don't even know what javascript is, so I'm not sure this is what I need.
I'm creating 6 versions of a 300+ manual in InDesign - exporting as a pdf. I have buttons to go to next page, back to table of contents, etc. I've assigned those actions in InDesign. I need to create an action for a button that will open up the Search menu in Acrobat. I can do this one button at a time, but I'll have 1800 buttons to do. Acrobat is limited in the types of batch sequences I can run.
Can I create a javascript that will do this for me in Acrobat? If so, where on earth do I begin?
