I need help.... Im tryin to create a script that will copy the my documents folder, along with three other files to a specific location on a network drive. Every script i have tried i get an ACCESS DENIED error. I was wondering if maybe a .bat file would work better.

IF ANYONE CAN HELP I WOULD APPRECIATE IT.

iNfAmOuSeNiGmA,

How are you executing your script? Wscript? Cscript? Using AT to trigger it or Task Scheduler?

Who's security is being used to try and run the script?
\\ If it is yours, can you do it manually at the command prompt using cscript? Does it fail also? If so, then I would guess it is your rights/permissions on the system you're trying to execute the script on/against.

What OS are you using? Client? Server?
\\ If your system is WinNT or > then permissions is going to be a major issue.

Provide the community a little more information and maybe we can see if there is a complete answer for you.

Thanks,
DougCranston
