createPopup or div?

I've been playing with the window.createPopup() on IE. I was wondering if there's any way to get the textboxes in it to be writeable?

I noticed checkboxes and radios are selectable but I was unable to write into the textbox. Might I have missed something?

Would this be a better way to create a menu type control than a div? This is for IE only btw...

not sure what you are asking? do you want to make a popup menu? or is this a popup screen of some sort?

menu-stick with div
popup screen-either a new window or a layer
