I'm developing a simple .Net application to write data to a MAS90 Table and want to test in an off-line fashion with a local copy of MAS90 on my hard drive.

I've copied the entire MAS90 folder from my server to my laptop but I seem to be missing something. When I just try to repoint my local MAS90 icon to my local copy of the files and launch MAS90, it gives the following error message

Can not open ACTIVATION key file
NO VALID ACTIVATION FOUND!!

When I try to run the program I'm writting with the DSN file pointed to the local copy it can't see the data files. The program seems to access the data just fine when it is one the server. Any ideas?

You need to reinstall the library master and system setup from your installation CD and re-enter your registration keys. The registration is tied to the directory creation date and time where the activation key is stored. Copying the data to another directory throws the registration off.
