Created report in report designer, now what? 1

Please excuse the novice level of this question, but am at wits end with Oracle reports. I am not very experienced with Oracle in general and have been given an assignment to create a report using Report Developer. I have created the report and am trying to get it registered in a concurrent program that will be scheduled weekly.

Questions:
1) What do I do? How do I save the report i.e. as a .rdf or .rep or?

2) Is there documentation that I can reference to help me get this report set up?

Any advice, suggestions, answers would be greatly appreciated. I know I need training but until that time I have to rely on experts and documentation.

The info you are looking for is in the Oracle Applications Developer’s Guide, which goes on CD along with other documents for Applications. AFAIK, it is not available on the Internet.
