I created a CR in a Test environment using a test database that is structured & named exactly like the DB in our Prod environment. The majority of the work on the report was accomplished by linking the tables properly to pull up the correct info for each field.

Question: Will the linked table structure that I created in the test environment move with the report when it's dropped into the Live environment? (I built the report under the assumption that the table linking that I defined is essentially a piece of the report & would remain connected to the report regarless of where the report is run.)

Since the DB in Test is the same as the DB in Prod I was hoping for a seemless move.

Am I correct?

You need to use Database > Set Datasource Location. If the two databases have the same structure there should be no problem.

Check Database > Show SQL Query (or whatever it is in your Crystal version, which it is best to give.) You will find that the links have been turned into SQL code.
