Basically I set up my new domain controller, and went through the various steps to get everything migrated. Well, I got the opportunity to test out the new DC yesterday by removing my old DC from the network ( just temp for testing), and everything behaved correctly EXCEPT my mail server, outlook never lost connection to exchange, but mail would not send, and webmail was down. Clearly my mail server is still looking at my old DC for whatever it needs it for. How do I get it to point to the new DC?
I have this error in the logs on my mail server "Process INETINFO.EXE. The configuration domain controller specified in the registry (occsrv7) is unreachable. DSAccess will choose the Configuration domain controller from the list of available domain controllers.
SO how to I tell it to stop looking at the old Dc and point it to the new one?
