I have been testing a custom .ADM file to push some User registry entries down to client machines which has been sucessful. The problem I am now faced with is the entries I was testing with were purely dummy ones in an existing key. I have now deleted the test .ADM file and replaced it with the one I have settled on, however when it is applied the dummy values which I have deleted from the new .ADM file return and are placed in the registry.
How do I 'clean' these dummy registry values from the GPO?

Andy

OK, I did a bit of research and the values are apparently 'tattooed' in the GPO (?) since they are 'Preferences' and not true 'Policies'. How can I removed these values? I still want to apply the new .adm file settings (well if I can get them to work correctly but that's another discussion...).

Cheers

Andy

I realise I should have backed the GPO's up first..... ;o(
