Create subreport

Hello All,

I am using CR8.
There is a field called PRNo in my main report (rptPRSummery). I want to show a subreport(rptPR) when clicking on the PRNo of main report.

Pls explain how?

Go to insert->subreport->create or choose a subreport->check "On demand subreport". Then place the subreport where {table.PRNo} would be located (probably the group header for a group based on this field. Right click on the subreport->format subreport->subreport->on-demand subreport caption->x+2 and enter:

totext({table.PRNo},0,"")//remove the totext(,0,"") if already a string

Now the field will be displayed and will be a link to the subreport if clicked.
