create rpt based on (same) but different oracle dbase

Hi all..
May be a simple question but I need to create CR (10.0) using different (same layout; exact duplicate w/ exception pw, etc) oracle dbase (8.0)? When its refreashed, will it opt for new pw, or even data source?
