Hi Gang,
I'm used to version 6 or later on the MICS/CICS system, which I haven't had to work on in a few years. Just got a call from a new client that has an ancient M8x24ds - DR5 system with a StarTalk mini.
Currently the AA answers and forwards the call to the front receptionist. They want to change it so that the call will go to both the front receptionist and a backup desk at the same time.
It appears as though I can use either an AnswerDN or a Call Pickup Group. The AnswerDN would take up a line button (not a problem) and could be set to ring (important) while a Call Pickup Group would require the user to enter a feature code and wouldn't ring at the set.
Am I correct in this?
Thanks,
Westley
