Create report at run time with ver. 9

Any one had it done before? I can't find the example code for CR 9. I need to add groups and totals depends on user selection. DB is Oracle 8i.

Are you using VB, or how do you propose to create this?

This might get you started, but you'll get better results if you share your develeopment environment when asking devlopment questions.

This can be accomplished with the RDC by making use of the Embeddable Designer control (for from scratch reports) or with the use of Report Creation API calls in code.

This will carry with it an additional licence charge per user.

Have a look in the Developer help file on your system for other info or pick yourself up a CR reference book. We have some listed on our site to save you some time.
