Create PST files for each mailbox

Hi all

I need help.
I need to restore each of the mailboxes in our exchange server, to a PST file, which can be viewed in Outlook afterwards.

I tried different ways, but i could not figure it out.

The problem is that i dont want to restore it to the original server, where the mailbox is, i just want to create PST files for each mailbox on the server.

Any help i appreciate.

Do a google search for a utiltiy called Exmerge. You can use that to create pst files from an online Exchange server.

Just one more question, how about if i want to make a pst file from a backup, but i dont want to overwrite the existing mailbox.

How can i do that?

Restore the data to the Recovery Storage Group and export to pst. There's an entire whitepaper from Microsoft of backup and recovery for Exchange 2003.
