Create PDF Port in Vista

My goal is to direct the output of automatically created pdf files from the default adobe setting.

Using acrobat 7 and vista. Select the Adobe pdf printer from the printerlist and right-click. Go to ports, select adobe pdf port and new port. Nothing happens. Pgm literally just sits there. Tried same process on another vista machine with same results.

Any ideas?
