Hi,

I need to create a single PDF file from a number of TIFF files via Acrobat objects using Visual Basic.

Just need the code to create the PDF from one of the TIFF files and inserting the remainder of TIFF files into the PDF created from the first TIFF file.

(I already know how to merge multi PDF files into one output PDF file; however, inserting the TIFF'S eludes me.)

Thanks for any help/suggestions.

Bill

You really need to go to the Acrobat web-site and download the SDK with all the docs and samples. That should get you on the right track.

Or there are plenty on 3rd party controls that would do what you want.

chadt,
thanks for your reply. i have tried to download the sdk yesterday & today without any success. for about a week now adobe is now charging for this and other items by forcing you to join their developer program for a minimum of $ 195 to have access.

i learned this when talking to their 'developer partners' rep this afternoon. i had asked for some consideration as it is a brand new policy and we have a ton of 4.0/5.0 full, licensed copies of actobat. as of late today they have not gotten back to me.

again thanks to everyone and tek-tips for the help. this is a really GREAT site and is extreamly helpful.
