Create Parameter based on extracting protion of field

I am trying to create a parameter based on the second and third digits of what is typically a 6 digit text field. How would I extract that to create a Dynamic Parameter in CRXI?

You would create a command where you added a substring of the text field in the Select statement. Then reference this is in the dynamic parameter setup. The syntax/function depends upon your database and connectivity.
