Grouping is done on account type data elements. I need to subtotal Income, then subtotal Cost of goods sold, then show the gross net sales of Income less COGS. How do I define the custom totaling fields and where do I perform the summing and then housekeeping, and tracking global totals for the P&L as needed?

I've come close but not succeeded.

Did you consider posting some sample records with field names and then your desired results? Seems like this would keep us from having to guess.

What's "COGS"? What's "P&L"?
How close are you? What have you tried so far?
