Create Outer Joins

I am a very recent user of BO and so this question of mine might sound a bit simple to you all the experts in the forum. I created an outer join between a master and a child table through BO designer. But now whenever I select an object related to this child for a query, I get an error message that SQL Error - invalid outer join......

I cannot figure out how to create an outer join in the tables in Designer. Can somebody please guide me on this? Any help will be appreciated...

the only way i know to create outer joins is by the designer.

You edit the join and check the outer join's checbox on the right side.

Doing this, you will see a cross (+) in the expression zone.
( (+) is for Oracle). Validate your action.

I never had problem doing this.
