create new extension, assign DID to extension in SV8100

Hello,

Our vendor provided us a new IP phone. I was inquiring as to how an extension can be created for this phone, and then assigned to a DID to allow callers to reach it out of the office.

I attempted to add an extension '5486' in 22-11 but it does not 'show up' in 15-01 'extension basic setup'

if anyone can help provide instructions it will save me quite a bit of time in perusing NEC's documentation
