I am using CR v8.0.
I want a to create a report that will allow a variable number of detail lines to be printed based on the number that was entered for the parameter.
Example:
If 5 is entered for the parameter, then 5 detail lines will be displayed.
The detail lines will not contain any data, so this report does not have to be based on a table.
I know I could create n detail sections and then suppress them according to the parameter entered. I am then limited to the number of detail sections I created in design time. I do not want this solution. I want a variable number of detail sections to be created based on the parameter value. Is there a formula that can do this task?
