I'm trying to build a macro in excel that will group my rows based on the value in column A. I think I can get the first set of items to group but I'm not sure how to start the second group.

Hi,

Please post macro VBA questions in Forum707.

However, have you checked out the Data > Subtotalc... built-in feature? You can group multiple levels by unchecking Replace current subtotals. Use this and save yourself some time and effort.
