I have done some Analysis Services but have not had to create a local .CUB file, because of using Windows Domain setup.
Now I need to setup a .cub file because we are running Novel, Workgroup (not Domain), Win 2k server sp4, Novel 6.0.

When I try to access the AS from a local Developer PC, it gives "user could not be authenticated" from the AS or Excel areas.
Thanks ahead of time for any help.

I have worked at a client using Novell. We got around this by creating a user on the AS server that matched the user who logged on to the Novell network. That way you don't need a .cub file.

Don't ask me how we did it - networking isn't my thing, but the SQL2K dba managed it somehow.
