create linked server problems

I'm having really problems creating a linked server to our external web server.

The web server's SQL registration properties are
server: CHEST1
connection: use windows

the properties for its security use
SQL Server and Windows authentication
startup service account use an administrator name and password
the ip address of the web server is ***.***.***.**4
although when i create a web site through IIS it uses
***.***.***.**7 as the web site identification

from my staging server - napoli

I choose security - linked servers - create

using the info above what would people recommend I put in to create it
