Create horizontal flash menu

Will anyone help me or point to a tutorial that shows me how to create a horizontal Flash menu? I have tried with Dreamweaver's Flash Text but I'm having difficulty showing and hiding the submenu once the mouse has moved to different menu tab.

Please help!

do a search for menu...i like the heirarchal one...easy to use and customise....but there are others

as this will be a component you must have mx

I have tried a plenty of search on Google. There are a bunch of them but it's not a tutorial. Basicaly what they have is a small program selling for $20 or above to simply Flash menus. But let me take a step back a little. I think what I'm looking for now is not that complex yet. Actually what I'm looking for right now is to create a Flash Text menu in Dreamweaver with the combination of using layers, I want to mimic a dropdown or popup submenu when mouseOver the main menu. I was able to make the submenu of flash text show up but when I mouseOver the layer that contains the flash text menu, it disappear. It works when I used rollover images for the submenu but just couldn't get the Flash text menu to work.

by all means make your own if thats what you want to do.

i just hate re inventing the wheel and im not too sure what you mean by flash text menu.

Thanks for the link! I'll give that a shot. Actually I found that in Dreamweaver I can create a Flash Text under Insert/Interactive Images/Flash Text but it's so limited with the functionality so that's why I like to know about Flash menu.
