I'm using the Create PDF From Scanner in Acrobat Professional Version 7. Two questions, one, if I have more than one page to scan, is there a setting so that I don't have to click through the Next Page to Scan buttons? Second question is I set up one of my printers (has sheet fed scanner) wirelessly, I couldn't find where I can add this to the scanner list in Acrobat. I'm using OSX 10.4 and the wireless printer is Brother 7040. I can print wirelessly, just don't know how to scan wirelessly. At the Office I use WinXP and Network Ethernet printing.

Not familiar with your scanner/printer. Believe that Brother bundles an app called Control Center for setup. It might be in hard drive/library/printers/Brother/utilities, or search your computer for it. It will allow you to select Acrobat as a destination app and pdf as sthe format. don't know how it will support multi page.

You should also be able to find the documetation for it. There should be a section on teh software documantation about network scanning-mac with setup instructions. You should also be able to get to this via control center. If not, go to the Brother website, search for your machine and you will eventually get the operating manual and/or the software instructions for setting up the network scanner. It's far more than can be stated here, but it's not too cumbersome.

Thanks. I'll look into it some more. I originally used Brother control center, but it seemed that I could only scan in as a graphic, pdf wasn't an available option when scanning, which is why I bought a copy of Acrobat Professional.

Don't know how old your machine is. PDf is supposed to be the last option listed when you pick the graphic format. The default for the app that would open the pdf would be set to Preview, unless changed to Acrobat.

You might wan to recheck or see if Brother has updated software for your machine.
