Could you inform me how create a file *.pdf with Clipper 5.3

Well, for me, I have a clipper application that generates output files in HP-PCL/GL format and to turn these into a PDF file is pretty straight forward.

Firstly you need a package such as:

http://www.visual.co.uk/pcl2pdfevaluations.asp

Then just run it as a command line option from within your application:

run pcl2pdf32 temp\mypcl.pcl temp\mypdf.pdf

Hi All,

The usual way to create a pdf is to print to a printer driver that will make one for you. You will need to change your print routine to print to a Windows printer, then select the pdf driver.

Vouch32 and PageScript can print to Windows printers, but you will need to change the printout routines.

Hi Hector,

You do not need both, one will be enough, both allow you to print to Windows printers and have other functions too.

PageScript can be purchased from AbeeLabs
