CREATE DATABASE problem 1

Hi,

I am trying to run a CREATE DATABASE command from Query Analyzer.

I am getting the following error:

" Create database permission denied in database 'master' "

Yes, I am trying to run it from the master database. Not sure where else I would run this command...

any ideas??

The user trying create the DB is part of sysadmin, and have access to the drives that the mdf and ldf get created?
If you syntax is correct, try to login as sa and execute.
