I want to create a new custom test object and have it found by both the Object Identifier and the Object Spy. I had already successfully tweaked a Dojo Object to make it compatible with the dojo 1.6 dijit widgets we are now using. I also managed to add a new object to the Dojo (part of the Web plugin) such that the Object Identifier is displaying it, but the object spy is not finding it.
I thought I should try to make my own really basic custom test object to see what I might have done wrong. So I defined NCTestObjects.xml in the Extensibility\Web directory and I added the directory Extensibility\Web\NC for the package and put in NC.xml and NC.js, following Dojo's model.
This new one is not found by Object Identifier (after restart) OR by the spy.
Any hints? (QTP 10).
Thanks
