Create Custom Menu in an Excel Add-In [addin add in]

Does anyone know how I can initiate some code from within an Add In (as it happens to build a menu) whenever a workbook is opened when the add in is installed?

I want the menu to be transportable to users via the add-in.

An add-in fires Workbook_Open and Workbook_BeforeClose events when you open excel with add-in installed or install/uninstall the add-in. Moreover it fires Workbook_AddinInstall and Workbook_AddinUninstall events when it is installed/uninstalled.
Typically the first pair of events is used to create/destroy temporary menus and toolbars for the add-in.
