I have a PDF that I want to burn on a CD to distribute. I would like to:

1) Have the document automatically come up when the CD is inserted (autorun).

2) If the user doesn't have Acrobat Reader, provide it on the CD and ask the user if they want to install it.

3) I created a link containing the "mailto:" command. When the user clicks on it it fires up their email client with the recipient and the subject line filled in (which is what I want). However, it also fires up their browser with the "mailto:" command in the address box. Is there a way to prevent the browser from coming up?

Thanks,
Bill

Bill,

Did you manage to get this sorted. I want to create an autorun CD which will load a HTML page. This page will contain links to install files for IE6, Acrobat reader and a couple of others.

Did you manage to create your autorun cd?

Yes, I did. I downloaded a free program that allows one to create an Autorun CD.
