Create button for voicemail 1

Hi. I am kind of a newbie to this system.

The manual says to

use feature * 2 to program an internal number
then enter the number you wish to dial. However, I do not thinig you can use feature as a number to add. Ex. feature 981.

Is there another way to create a button for voicemail.

Yes The way to program a Feature Key is Feature * 3
it will ask you to press a button then Press Feature 981 will say Programed. KDB
