create bootable CD

i have p620 systeme with AIX 5.2 i will to create a bootable CD or DVD but i dont have the CD-RW or DVD-RW drive to do this
my question is it is possible to create image file and transfet it to pc and use nero utilisty to create CD or DVD bootable for AIX

I do this regularly with mksysb images. The relevant code is mkisofs which is available form the IBM web site. If, like me, you are wanting to make bootable mksysb CDs then the mkcd command has the relevant switch. man mkcd for details.
