Create Bar chart and save it as bitmap

Hi,

Does anyone know how to create bar charts using vb.net and save them as bitmap/jpeg files? I need to create a brunch (about 100) of bar charts using data from text files. I don't need the charts to be shown on the form but would like to save them as image files. Is there any code relating to it? Any help would be appreciated!

Process would be to build a bitmap, then create a graphics object from the bitmap, then via the graphics object you would perform whatever drawing you need.

Bar Charts would be rectangles, shading is done with different rectangles..

You could enhance via gradient brushes etc..

Then of course you would either save it to disk or a stream or set it as the backgroundimage for some control.
