Can I create an instance in Indesign. We do some sets of business cards where the layout is 4 up. I want to be able to type in the top card and the three below change?

If you're talking about something like changing the name or title on the card, it's just as easy to use Find-Change and then select Change All in that window. Then everything changes.

That's how we do standard business cards - keeping one version as a template and just using find-change.

Using OSX 10.3.9 on a G4

Here is a plugin that auto-synchs text from a placed file (.txt, .doc, etc.) and you can have multiple boxes set to auto-synch:
Also, you can use the InCopy plugins that came on the CD (but didn't install automatically)...one of them (and I can't remember which one exactly) allows you to do that. I assume it would be the one where you let others subscribe or check out stories. I'll see if I can figure out how that works.

Hope that helps some.
