create agent or rules by access/VB??

hello

i'm sending some specific mail with VB by Lotus using de Notes.NotesSession code

but this specific mail obtain automaticly one specific response (with subject OK, NOK, Try Later,...)

and i want check for the user witch response are OK,NOK ,...


i'm think one agent can check the mail response, but i can't see how VB can create this particular agent.

the other solution is create one rule/filter there check for this mail response and move the mail to one folder OK, Nok, ... for ex but my probleme is the same how VB can talk with lotus to create this rule.


I accept any help in manipulation of lotus agent or lotus rules by vb

Mail rules are documents based on the MailRule form so you could theoretically add them programatically. See link below for more information on mail rules from the helpful chaps at LDD:

You cannot write an agent from vb as far as I know ... however, an agent that does not change can still do different things based on changing external data. eg: It could read a value from a document and execute that value (if it is well formed lotusscript) via the Execute statement. So rather than writing out an agent, you would write out the code that an existing agent will load and run.

I still do not understand why you need to do this. Please try to rephrase your requirements, and I apologize for not understanding.

i have developed in Access/VBA one application who permit to users generate some Word or Excel document (automatically!) with informations issue from database.

automatically Access send this documents by mail.

My domino server can send too fax! (there's it the specific mail i'm talking)

if my users send documents to
DaleFlannery@theprogrammer.com <-- it's a mail
Dale Flannery@911475512540@fax <--it's a fax

for the server if the mail have this structure:
commentary or name@fax number@fax
THE MAIL HAS SEND BY FAX

then when the fax has send by the server, the server response by mail to my users if the fax has send OK, NOK,...


i want by Access create one rule in Notes there check or moved the response of the server fax because without this the user need control one by one the response mail to see if all the fax send are Ok
