CREATE A WEB APPLICATION THRU IIS5.0

Hello:
How do I create a web application in IIS, and when I create a new project in INTERDEV - the wizard should display that web application in the dropdown box when promping me to select one on the server?
What i did was right click on my default web site on IIS created a new virtual directory, but it doesn't appear on the dropdown box in the wizard in Interdev why?

I believe that you need to create a new project and then connect to that web application. If you let VI do it for you, it creates the directory and adds all the files that are needed.
