Create a Vacation Calendar

Does anyone have any idea how to create a dynamic calendar in Access that can be utilized to display who is scheduled to be out of the office. I'd like the user to be able to scroll through the calendar and be able to view an entire month and have the people's names appear on the appropriate day as to who is on vacation, etc.

I have a web programmer who did this in a web environment, but I wanted to see if I could do it in Access also.

The calendar report is pretty close - I may can translate that into some type of form.
