I am new to Crystal report. I use to crystal report to creaete a report from Access database and Xbase data file (clipper dbf file). When I set up the data source, I got warning message said "More than one database driver has been used in this report. If you want to change the database the database dirvers use Database/Set Location. Also, Please make sure that no SQL Expresion is added and no server-side group-by is performed". I don't undertand that message. Anyway, I design a group report which is pretty simple - to show the order quantity by group of dealer and size. When I run the report, it will take a forever to show the report. I check the status bar said - reading records...

Could you help me how to create this kind of report which data source is located at different area?

Thank you very much in advance.

Brian

A DBF is different from an MDB, hence 2 data sources, and decreased performance.

A faster method would be to LINK the DBF files into the MS Access database, then create a Query based on the tables.

Crystal can then use the query and you'll enjoy more flexibility and better performance.
