Create a Reminder Message 1

I am running Office XP on an old laptop which is running on Windows 98. An Access Database opens at start-up and I would like either that application or Win98 to pop-up a reminder message every Friday, reminding the user to run the Back-Up. The message needs to remain alive until specifically cancelled - i.e. if the computer is not used on the Friday, the message re-appears next time it is switched on.

Can anyone advise if this is possible and how it can be achieved.
