Create a non IP extension

Wen I try to create an extension, it is always creating IP extension instead of regular on. What is that I am doing wrong?

When you create a new user the managers asks if you want to create a IP-Station.
Just say no and you have a new user.

I am not sure if it did. I just copied one user to this new one. I need to have new user first before the extension is created?

Yes you are right. It was asking me and I said no. the only other thing is I can't reboot so I did merge. I am not sure if that is why I don't have the new extension created. Also, if i try to create a new one, it is creating a VOIP extension again. Any help is appreciated.

What are you trying do do.
If you want to create a new user at the end it asks if you want it to be a IP-Station.

If you copy a user, you must copy and past it then edit the user and it wont promt u for the IP-Station.

Tell me what are you trying to do?

yes. I would like to create a new user. I got the user created and I chose NO at the end when asked about IP extenssion. Now I need the extension created as tere is none for that user.

If you have created the user you must look in the extansion list if there is a port free.
Every extension ID is like an hardware adres.
If al are used you cant created one.
Its automaticly created if you connect a new module for Stations.
Look at the numbers at the stations-ID there can be an number but no user (then its an unused id)

You must restart the ip-office for the extension-id to change.
