We will be converting our Notes server from our token-ring setup to Ethernet in a few days. This will result in the server having a new IP address. What is the best way to change our users connection setup without visiting each computer?

did they connect using an IP address, or using a hostname ?

They connect using the optionalnetworkaddress (IP) field. We also use a hosts file setup (lack of an internal DNS server), do you know what the resolution order Notes uses?

hmmm too bad...

Maybe you should consider installing DNS and change all clients...
(if the disks have administrative shares, then you might be able to automate the edit of all notes.ini files...) I have not failed, I just found 10000 ways that don't work
