I installed 64bit version of SQL Express and I initially installed Pervasive 10.0. Did not see Pervasive show up a provider when trying to create a linked server. I downloaded a copy of Pervasive 11 which has 64bit ODBC drivers, thinking that was the problem. I installed v11 and still do not see Pervasive listed as a Provider. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong? Thanks for any help.

If you want to use the Pervasive provider, you'll need to download and install the Pervasive ADO.NET SDK (in the Software Development Kit section at You should be able to add the linked server pointing to an ODBC DSN though. You'll need to use the "MSDASQL" or "Microsoft ODBC Datasource" as the provider.
